Glasshouse was started in 2018 by two former landscape architects who wanted to bring the same care to indoor plants that they brought to gardens. We stock fewer plants than a chain — but every one is healthy, identified correctly, and matched to a home.

2018
Lila and Jordan open Glasshouse in a 600 sq ft storefront with one shipment of plants and a lot of optimism.
2020
Launched our home plant consultations and plant subscription boxes during the pandemic plant boom.
2023
Doubled the shop and added our repotting bar. Began stocking collector aroids and rare specimens.
2025
400+ plants, weekly shipments, in-home consultations, and the friendliest plant people in the city.
